M.Sc Chemistry is a two year course. For admission to M.Sc Chemistry programme, Universities conduct entrance exam.

Entrance exam question paper of Pondicherry University  consists of  100  Multiple Choice Questions. 80   questions  are distributed  among  Inorganic,  Organic  and  Physical Chemistry at under graduate level and 20   questions  will be  from English and test of reasoning.

See, you should prepare the topics and have clear understanding of topics from the syllabus which you have studied during graduation.
Entrance exam of all other Universities will also be based on the syllabus which you have studied during Graduation.

You can also appear for IIT JAM entrance exam. Joint Admission Test (JAM) is the entrance exam for admission to various programmes such as M.Sc, Joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc Ph.D dual programme, integrated PhD, M.Sc- M.Tech, M.Sc- M.S (Research), and other postgraduate programmes. It is conducted for admission to IITs.
