If you belong to the general category then you have to score 75 percent in your 12th board examination or be in the top 20 percentile in 12th examination.
For SC/ST students the qualifying marks is 65 percent.
If you don't meet with the above eligibility criteria then you would be rejected by the authority even you get good rank in JEE.
