Hello Sir. Generally, everyone takes a B.E. dual degree along with M.Sc. Economics. So the majority of people clinging to engineering dual degree get placed according to their dual degree. But if you specifically want to be placed with your economics degree then a few banking companies do come seeking for skills which only Economics students possess. And they certainly give a very good package. I remember Credit Suisse giving a package of 11–14 lpa to Economics students. Apart from that few analytics companies such as TCS Analytics are open only for Economics students giving a package of 8–9lpa.
