The students who want to do btech in Amritha have to attend AEEE  "Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination ". The seats which are reserved for the candidates who comes from the same state for counselling, they call it as state quota..

For example a student from Tamil Nadu is an open quota candidate for Amritapuri campus and state quota for cbe campus.
