If you are a north Indian, that's a good decision you have made. Regarding the placements, to my knowledge all the students irrespective of their campuses have to come to main campus that is kattankulathur for placement process.( Its 3 years back) 
Apart from that, everything is similar among all the campuses, besides I personally feel the gaziabad one is good among both because of its placements

On basis of acadmics JUIT is far better than SRM Ghaziabad and it is well recognized as a good university for acadmics(Most people already know that ).
