Hello..

Firstly go through the basics of 11th & 12th  and try to revise it again and again.

Try to solve all the previous year question papers as well as mock test series.

You should prefer OP Tandon(for general & inorganic chemistry) and Arihant Publications for organic chemistry.

Best of luck..!!

Hello Ankith !
It's no doubt that Chemistry is the most scoring amongst all the section in JEE Mains & Advanced and that most of the aspirants aim to score well in this section. I would highly recommend making first your basic concepts crystal clear with the help of NCERT (especially for JEE Mains).
There are some really good books out there such as Narandra Awasthi for Physical Chemistry, MS Chouhan for Organic Chemistry and NCERT for Inorganic Chemistry.
Going through the previous year papers would definitely give you a better idea.
Atlast, it's just practice and practice.
All the best !

Hey Ankith,

Chemistry is the most scoring subject in JEE(Main+Advanced) and apart from that you can score good marks in very less time in this.

Few tips to crack chemistry:

  • Don't leave inorganic chemistry!! Trust me,a lot of students leave this part but let me tell you this part creates a huge difference in your rank.
  • Get Command on Organic chemistry. You can only achieve this by practicing more and more questions and by knowing reaction mechanisms properly. Take a blank chart paper and try to link all the reactions of organic chemistry. This will create a brain map of all the reactions!
  • For physical chemistry,Learn to use  all the formulas and practice more and more questions.
  • And the most important thing, you need to study chemistry each and every day.

Good Luck
