According to the eligibility criteria in AL Kabir Polytechnic Diploma in 2019, the candidates passing their 10 + 2 board exams in any board I.C.S.E./C.B.S.E. or any equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for seeking admission to the polytechnic.

To get admission in Polytechnic course in Al-Kabir Polytechnic College, Jamshedpur, you must have to appear in Polytechnic entrance examination which is conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Candidates who have qualified in entrance examination will be called for counseling for seat allocation.
