If you belong to OBC or SC/ST category then There is high chances that you can get admission as per your choice. Gate 2017 Cutoff for M.TECH. in Steel Technology, are mentioned below-

For GATE 2017

GN Cut off- 400

OBC-360

SC/ST-297

Just convert your marks in GATE Score. There are various website that can simply convert marks to score according to GATE Stream and Year. You may easily google it.

Okay. But tell me which are all best IITs for M Tech in Mettalurgical engg branches like steel technology & Material science. Also what are the chanses of Placements after completion of M Tech with good credits?
