Admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh for tge course of BA/BCOM LLB is done on the basis of both your result in 12th boards and entrance exam. 50% weightage is given to both the scores.
So as your boards percentage as well as your entrance exam's score both matter equally. As most of you have already got your both results a good score in it will put you at a great advantage.
There are 120 seats (both BA and BCOM) in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.
So if you score 90+ in boards 55-60 marks+ in the entrance exam you'll still have fair chance of Admission here. And if you score 80+ in boards then try to score more than 60-65+.
So basically, with a combined score of 70+ you can expect yourself to have fair chances. But this is as per the last year trends. And this year cut off may vary. And it might be lower this year. So a more accurate estimate can be made after combined ranks are out, hence you should wait for that before being too sure.
