Hello dear,

if you are persuing mtech from any IIT then you have many opportunity for placement, phd and further study in abroad.many students of IIT are placed in top companies like google, microsoft etc. after mtech.

There are quite a few people who did M.Tech from IIT and went on to pursue a PhD at top US universities like Stanford, Berkeley, CMU, UIUC, Austin etc.if you are doing cs from iit then you have very good future.so, you have to go for it.
