It depends on what you consider to be good. But I'll try and give you a rough idea.
The placement for CS/IT are great. There are a lot of offers from companies like Deloitte, UHG and also companies like InfoEdge visit the campus for recruitment.
For core branches, the placement percentage goes down a little, but is still good.

Average package of College is 5 lpa.And highest package of core stream is around 10lpa.Highest package gets changed each year, don't see this as this one offer to single students Average package of College is good ,there is no need to worry.You can keep expectation with IT sector and some core companies.As few core companies used to visit every Colleges.If you want to go core companies then you have to look for gate entrance examination...
