How to Pay NIT Raipur Fees?
The Institute allows online mode of payment, so NIT Raipur fees can be paid with the help of following these steps.
Visit the official website of NIT Raipur.
Candidates will need to click on “Online Fee Payment” on the homepage.
Now click on “Online Pay Using MIS”. Candidates can also directly visit the official MIS webpage.
Log In to the personal MIS account using Username and Password.
Read the policy and check the box provided below and click on “Accept”.
Select the required “Session”, “Fee Type” and “Semester” from the drop down menu.
Select the payment from the drop down menu provided below.
Complete the procedure by filling the requirement on the SBI/HDFC payment gateway.
Do not forget to take a printout copy of successful payment.

The central library of National institute of technology Raipur has good collection of more than 1 lack of document consisting of text book , reference book and back volume journals . Beside it has subscription to a good number of print journals and online resource.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the college is good. It has hostels for both boys and girls. The college buildings are goods and repaired every year. The labs of the college are equipped with the moderns equipments. The classrooms are also good and have projectors. The college campus is quite good and have three gardens alongwith two playgrounds and basketball court.
I got category rank 2428 ST . can i get nit raipur cse or ece. If not what are the alternatives.

First of all, congratulations on your rank. It is a pretty decent category rank. Now, cutoffs change every year based on a few factors which are as follows -
• Number of applicants
• Number of candidates appeared in the exam
• Difficulty of JEE Advanced 2022
• Total number of seats available at NIT Raipur
• Previous year cutoff trends
• Category of students
If we go by NIT Raipur 2021 cutoff then, closing rank for Computer Science and engineering for ST category (other state quota) was 2586. And your rank is 2428, so you have a fair chance of getting CSE if cutoffs follow last year's trend.
Now for Electronics and Communication, closing rank was 1318, so unless cutoffs are eased a bit this year, your chance of getting ECE are slightly less.

There are several sponsored projects supported by the funding agencies like DRDO, DST, DeitY, Space Application Centre (SAC- ISRO), CSIR, CPRI, MNRE, ICMR, RDE, CCOST, and  various other Ministries of Govt. of India. The other Govt./non-Govt. organizations, industries and international funding agencies like State Council of Education Research & Training Raipur, Human Settlement Management Institute, CECB, Revenue & Disaster Management Dept., BALCO, Royal Academy of Engineering, UK  DST (India-Taiwan), NMDC, NSU, NCSU, USA Partnership Program, etc., have also contributed to sponsored research over the years. Important consultancy projects with agencies like NMDC, CPW, BALCO, PWD,  are also undertaken across different departments of the Institute. A record 820 articles were publihed with NIT Raipur affiliation. It is fair to say NIT Raipur is good in this case.

. both colleges are equally good in terms of academics. The faculty is well-qualified and cooperative in both NIT raipur and IIEST Shibpur with a slight difference.
As per the NIT Raipur placements BTech course in Computer Science & Engineering is best because of the maximum number of offers. so if you are interested in cs then go for nit raipur
if you are interested in research then IIEST Shibpur is best for you. But lastly, your efforts to develop skills in yourself matter immensely, as you are the only person who needs to do hard work. If you do not then even the best college in the country would not help. .

IIEST Shibpur receives similar funding as compared to IIT's which is 40% more than NIT raipur. The campus of Shibpur is much cleaner and greener and the crowd is also better. The hostels of Shibpur are much better than rai pur. Placements are more or less similar in both colleges.
so I'll suggest you to go in iiest shibpur for mechanical engineering. .
