A real gem of a university located in the centre of the city. Has decent infrastructure and the learning equipments and machinery are all present for any field. A great faculty for Mining and as I've heard from other batches, this quality is common in other core/non-core branches. The placement system needs some work as the university suffers from low on campus placements.

As I said, the faculty is really good. Professors are helpful especially after first year when the batches are handled by their respective department. No lack of machinery or learning equipment in the college for the students of any field.

I haven't been placed yet but I have checked the data and the quality of placements have reduced a lot and I don't want to make any assumption as students and teachers all shift blames regarding this. It's the placement system that needs work and students need to co-operate. i do not remember the percentage of placed students or the average package offered.

The classes and friends you make will be pleasant memories in the future to remember. The on campus hostel however, is not upto par with the current standards. Mess food is highly complained about.

College is best as it has well maintained hostel with clean drinking water and well maintained wifi facilities And It is good equipment for labs and . It has well maintained building and good labs good food for hostel

I am studying Engineering .It has good studying average as teachers focus on practical studying more than theory based learning and it's study is based on latest curriculum and I am studying in Ai & ML program.

It has good placement with highest package in cse of 65 lakh per annum and It has average package of 10-12 lakh for cse and It has 85-90% placement rate it's recruiters are oracle, Capgemini, Google,Amazon and college is very supportive for students for placement

It's b.tech cse course total tution fees is 8 lakh per annum and its worth the money with quality education and placement.and I feel with the quality of teaching and facilities with cutting edge resources it is all worth the money I am paying the college

there's a good amount of greenery around the whole campus, however it's not well renovated inside and doesn't seem to meeting up with expectations .The library is peaceful with a huge collection of books, journals, and digital access for e-learning. NIT Raipur has 100 acres of land in the Raipur city. There is one big building with multiple blocks of different departments are interconnected to one another. There are 4 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. The hostel rooms are good with Wi-Fi connection. The mess facility is good, with 3 times meal and 1 time snacks in a day. The food is hygienic. The classrooms are big and good with furniture, smart board and AC installed in it. There are grounds for basketball, football, badminton, cricket and NCC ground. There is greenery all around the campus. This institute is god and holds national institute of importance. The campus provides laboratories of different departments like IT lab, mechanical lab, CAD lab, computer lab, electronics lab, etc.

The academics of this institute is good as because this college comes under national importance and provide the curriculum mentioned by AICTE. I am pursuing Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Information Technology (IT) at NIT Raipur. I am studying this course because i wanted to get deep dive knowledge in this particular field. This would increase my research work and help to get advanced knowledge on Advanced Machine Learning, Advanced Data Structure and in many subject areas. The quality of teaching by the faculty members are understandable and they impart great deep knowledge to all the students. My curriculum is updated as per the year 2025. The recent curriculum includes Advanced Machine Learning, Blockchain Technology, Cloud Computing. All the course subjects are related to industry specific. It teaches the theory and practical implementation for getting job-ready.

The placement at my campus is good. In the year 2025, about 127 companies visited our campus and provided about 500 offers to the students. Many companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Google, Accenture, Micron, Uber, Oracle and many more. About 80 percent of the students were placed in last placement drive. The highest salary was Rs 60,00,000 per annum and this package was offered to Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology. The lowest salary was Rs 7,00,000 per annum. The average salary was Rs 11,00,000 per annum. I am in the 1st year of my course program, so my placement would come next year. Yes my college is supportive in terms of placement drive. The TPOs help the students to train well before the companies visit our campus for hiring.

My course fees have to paid semester-wise. During admission time, I have to pay additional fees for security and infrastructure maintenance fees of Rs 30,000. First semester fees: Rs 80,300. Second semester fees: Rs 43,000. Third semester fees: Rs 43,000. Fourth semester fees: Rs 43,000. And additional fees of Rs 30,000 every semester for hostel and mess. Yes, I am feeling my money's worth because it is going in right direction. This would pave me a path of greater success ahead in my upcoming life.

The campus life is good. The students interact with each other nicely and support in need. The seniors use to help juniors to move ahead in path of learning. Students use to spend time with each other in the campus garden and use to play games to get happy and refreshing. Students also spend time in the cafeteria and gossip with each other. The students have good life with all the facilities of learning, playing and enjoying the college life. The students are caring and supportive. The teachers use to support in gaining more skills and provide deep knowledge to all. The staff members are co-operative and behave like family member. The campus is situated in the Raipur city. The location is good, full of greenery everywhere around the campus. Yes, it can handle emergencies. As this college is situated in the city, so hospitals, banks, police station, railway station are near to it. The college has medical facilities and also bank facility.

NIT Raipur is an old institution and it holds national importance as stated by Government of India.
