Hello Rekha. I would like to tell you that commerce students have variety of options after 12th standard. Bcom hons, BBA, CA, BMS,BFIA are some of the fields which you can look into. If you have interests in computers, then you can also opt for BCA degree where you would be introduced to various programming languages and conputer applications. I would advise you to pursue BBA since you belong to commerce background and the subjects that you will be studying in BBA will relate to your background. I hope you found this answer helpful. These exams can be taken up simultaneously along with any graduation degree that you are pursuing. Moreover, you can also go for an M.Com after doing a B.Com., this allows you to have an in depth insight into the subject and prepares you for research and academia. Another popular choice among the commerce students is opting for BA.LLB right after their +2 or a three year LLB after they do a B.Com. Some colleges also offer an integrated B.Com LLB Program. However, if you are looking for a job, after completing a B.Com you can always apply for the Bank PO Examinations.
