in biotechnology engineering you will learn about engineering and biology for research and development, it is a combination of technology+biology , in the help of technology we study and research about the microorganism and bio-organism , it basically includes study of chemistry, genetics, bio-chemistry and microbiology .

biotechnology engineering divided into three programmes

1. diploma course - you need to be 10+2 or you can do that after you 12th , it is of 3 years

2. B.tech biotechnology

3. M.tech biotechnology

4. Ph.D in same field

talking about scope and career , there is a lot of opportunity to get the highest paid and reputed job in field of biotechnology engineering, you can get jobs both in private and government sector
