Hi Abhishek,

You may be familiar with this that there are two set of courses i.e major in which you are pursuing your mtech and minor which can be any other course aside your major course and will have less number of credits. So Major cutoff of a course is the cutoff when that course is taken as a major and minor cutoff is the cutoff when the course is taken as a minor.
