The active placement cell at the GITAM Institute of Pharmacy in Visakhapatnam helps the students develop their employability skills as well as their interpersonal and communication abilities. Additionally serving as a link between businesses and students, the placement cell aids students in finding internships and jobs.

Placement in the BPharm programme -

1. The highest monthly wage on offer was Rs. 25,000.

2. The average monthly wage was Rs. 14,000

3. About 40% of all students complete on-campus placements.

4. For almost 80% of students, an internship option was available.

5. Top employers for BPharm graduates were Nestle, AstraZeneca, Cipla, and Divi's Laboratories.

6. Students were given access to production and marketing profiles.
