It depends on what you want to study in VJTI. If it is Diploma, then the admission is done purely on the basis of class 10th percentage and the registration for the same is done on the DTE website. For degree, Maharashtra state common entrance test scores are required for the admission, which is again carried out by DTE. For Masters, one had to take GATE, which is conducted by the central government.

VJTI offers a number of B.Tech and M.Tech courses for the graduates and postgraduates willing to continue higher studies in their respective fields. Application process for the UG courses start in the month of March and in the month of July for the PG courses.

The B.Tech candidates who are alloted VJTI campus after their MHT-CET results are invited to the campus for counselling, based on which their admission is finalized. M.Tech candidates are alloted to the Institution through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
