Admission to FY of B.Sc. Fashion Designing will accept  candidates with the least 50% mark (45% marks for SC & ST category candidates) in 10+2 examination from CBSE/Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination or from recognized board with English as compulsory subject.

Admission in UIFT, Panjab University Chandigarh is made on the basis of an aptitutde by the institute to assess the skill of candidates in free hand drawing, sketching, designing, creative and general ability needed for the course.
