Yes, the state government has issued to increase the stipend by 40% for the pg medical students. For first, second and third year PG medical students, the revised stipend is in the range of INR 40,000 to 45,000; INR 50,000 to 55,000 and INR 55,000 to 60,000 respectively. Government doctors will receive INR 60,000. This has been done after five years and it will benefit many of the medical students.
