Since these institutions are seen similarly by the public, there is actually no difference between them. While they are comparable in terms of placement, the IIT tag will benefit you in the long run in terms of brand value. In addition, IIT would have significantly greater facilities than NITs.

The fact that so many businesses avoid visiting NIT is another issue. nonetheless, be sure to stop by older IITs. Some businesses, like Qualcomm, launch their R&D profiles in older IITs rather than NITs.
