In IIM-A there are three types of internship or placement program are given to the students which are:

PGP

• Summer Internship: The summer placement program for selecting interns typically runs in the month of November. The internship is held between April and May.

FABM

• Lateral Placements: Lateral placements happen over an extended period in the final term for students having substantial work experience with firms offering higher than entry-level positions. It starts in mid-December and lasts until January.
• Final Placement: Final placements happen during the month of February.

PGPX

For PGPX, Final Placements runs a on rolling basis and it typically runs from December to March.
