There are lots of online platform that provides quality coaching. You can also prepare by yourself with online guidance. All you need is proper dedicated schedule. You should follow standard authors book. There are lots of hand written notes available online or you can find compilation of gate syllabus for your engineering branch. You should also join test series of Made Easy or IES Master for self evaluation every week. If this is not enough for you then you should go for offline coaching. On the basis of result, Made easy is good for GATE preparation.

If you are looking for gate coaching centre in internet it would display well known institutes such as gate forum, IES gate academy, vani institute,etc., but these institutes take students in large numbers, and the scheduling of classes is tiresome.There is one dedicated institute known as dynamic institute in ashok nagar, lot of people doesn’t know about it, since it has no advertisement, the only way of advertising is through their ex-students. It is being run from 2000(as far my knowledge), by Mr. Subramanium, he covers all the core subject by himself, maths is taken by Mr. Bharani who is also an ex-student of the institute himself. If you want to learn some good fundamentals, it is best advisable to join here since he provides lot of time in teaching SOM,FM,EM which are the basic fundamentals for mechanical engineering. I strongly recommend dynamic institute for people who are really into GATE as well as IES.
