It depends upon your potential and how you can explore it.

In IITs you will find almost all branches of engineering but in most of the IIITs you will find CSE,IT and Electronics Engineering /Electrical & Electronics etc .

Both IITs & IIITs are renowned institutes,but fact remains that preference of most of the aspirants go to IITs and one more important factor I should apprise that IITs are funded by Central Government whereas IIITs fall under the ambit of PPP(Public Private Partnership).

But as far as jobs scope is concerned every college will make their best efforts to get their students placed in a good company , It depends on your skill set that how you grab that offer.
