The difference between the autonomous and affiliated colleges is that in autonomous college they can set their own syllabus and correction will be done in college itself. But question paper will be prepared by Anna University. You will recieve Anna University certificate at the end of degree in both the cases. Many people feel affiliated colleges are the good option to opt for but you can experience more new things in autonomous college. If college permits you can do a particular semester abroad as well in student exchange program if your college is autonomous.
