The admissions into integrated courses is done on the basis of marks obtained in the intermediate examination at both the colleges. Out of two, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham edges SRM by small margin but it is also a good college. Amrita, Coimbatore is the second highest ranked private Engineering College in India with amazing infrastructure and well-developed facilities. The faculties are excellent with the clubs working here known all around the globe. The placements too are good with average package around 6 lacs per annum with around 80 percent of the students getting placed.
