Hello dear student,

As you want to go for MTech so I assume you are more research oriented and you want to to focus on the core. You can choose any between IISC and IIT. But because of your research interest I would preferably ask you to go for IISC as is mainly known for its approach for research and core branches. While IITM we have better placement scenarios from campus itself.
