Only government colleges take in consideration the categories. But in private colleges GEN/EWS/OBC are taken their CRL and in SC/ST their category rank is taken in consideration.

GGSIU has started the choice filling for IPU B.Tech 2021 counselling and seat allotment process on October 1. The university is conducting the counseling for IPU B.Tech in online mode. The IPU B.Tech counselling 2021 is being conducted for all B.Tech courses including Biotechnology. The 1st round IPU B.Tech 2021 seat allotment result will be released on October 8, 2021.

IPU B.Tech seat allotment will be done as per the candidate’s merit, preferences and availability of seats. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to confirm their admission by paying the part academic fee of Rs. 40,000. Reporting at the counselling venue for document verification also has to be done by the candidates.
