Hello there!
When one goes for graduation in a particular field, it gets mandatory to study few more subjects along with the ?main subject. That together makes up the total course structure in the particular college.
These are not just related to the main subject but on higher level of education they becomes as a main part of specialization and research.
So you would definitely need to study them.
Plus, if there is a choice available, you can choose from the given subjects.
