Can I get seat in iisc with OBC rank 60000

Hi Naveen,

In IISC, this year cut off for OBC is 5000, I don't think you will get seat in this Institute. As every year they only take few students and their cut off is less. Here is the link where you can find about cut off :

What is the eligibility criteria for Msc. Geology in IITs, IISc?

Candidates must have passed Biology at the (10+2) Higher Secondary level. Bachelor of Science or equivalent with Chemistry as a subject. Candidates should have passed Mathematics at the +2 or PUC level. Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with mathematics for three years or six semesters.

Had applied for iisc but jee rank turned to be above 250000 should I enter the CRL in their portal or leave it off considering not qualified

If you are going through any other stream for taking admission like through KVPY or something like that, I suggest you leave it blank because your rank might create a bad impression during admission process when compared to other candidates. If it's not compulsory then you should leave it.
