Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) is a 5.5-year full-time course, which includes 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship offered by the Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should be citizens of India.
To be eligible for admission to MBBS Degree Course for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile for general category and those belonging to reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST) are required to get at least 40th percentile in ‘National Eligibility cum-Entrance Test to MBBS Degree Course held for the year 2025-2026. In respect of candidates with locomotors disability of lower limbs terms of Clause 4(a) iv (of regulations), the minimum mark shall be at 45th percentile for UR, and 40th percentile for ST/SC/OBC in National Eligibility cum-Entrance Test to MBBS Degree Courses held for the said academic year, provided when sufficient number of candidates in the respective categories fail to secure minimum marks as prescribed in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test held for any academic year for admission to MBBS Degree Course, the Central Government in consultation with National Medical Commission may at its discretion lower the minimum marks required for admission to MBBS Degree Course for candidates belonging to respective categories and marks so lowered by the Central Government shall be applicable for the said academic year only. If such a situation arises, fresh applications will not be entertained.
To be eligible for admission to the MBBS Degree Course, a candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained marks as per the respective category taken together in Physics, Chemistry,y and Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying Examination.

College Infrastructure

Our college is the first medical college in the State, may be therefore the Arunachal Government fulfills all the needs and requirements of the college, we have very good infrastructure, the faculties are wonderful and the most important thing for a medical college is, that we have patients from all the corner of the state as it is also the only tertiary centre in the State.

College Infrastructure

All necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment are available. Hostels are one of the best in India, it's in its developing stage better to come in the future. Classrooms are quiet good and we've got our own stadium which was before the top stadium of Arunachal Pradesh
