The candidates should have an undergraduate degree in a pertinent field to gain admission to the B.Ed program.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
The D.El.Ed program also has 100 seats and follows the same admission process as for the B.Ed program. Admission is based on merit on the qualification and/or an entrance examination. The selection process shall adhere to the policies set forth by the state government or UT administration. This course is to train those who aspire to work at an elementary level.
M.Ed (Master of Education):
Fifty students are admitted into the M.Ed course of Aravindar College of Education. The process of admission for this higher degree will be stricter, since it goes through marks obtained either in the qualifying examination (usually B.Ed degree), an entrance test, or any other process prescribed by the policy of the state government, university, or UT administration. This course is designed for people pursuing career advancement in education, or a research career in the field.
