Bonanza College of Education, Satna, is among the world-renowned colleges in Madhya Pradesh, India. The institution is recognized and accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers two full-time courses in Education. Its unique admission process mainly seeks deserving individuals with motivation who aspire to become educators. Well, we follow strictly the admission procedure framed by the state government, the Union Territory, and the affiliated university. Admission is by and large based on merit as evaluated from the marks attained in the qualifying examination(s) or else by any entrance test or selection procedure that is established by the concerned authorities.

Application Process

The application procedure provided by Bonanza College of Education is comprised as follows:

1. Admission Announcement: The college will announce starting the admission procedure through its website and other media sources.

2. Application Form: Interested candidates need to get and fill out the application form. The college did not lay down any specific mode of obtaining a form; however, form could possibly be downloaded from the college website or obtained from the college campus. 

3. Submission of Documents: Documents required for admission should be attached with the application form duly filled. Such documents are generally:

• Mark sheets of qualifying examinations
• Proof of identity
• Recent passport-size photograph
• Any other certificates or documents as may be required by the college

4. Entrance Examination: An entrance examination may also be conducted depending on the policies of the government or the state and by the university.

5. Preparation of Merit List: On the basis of qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests, a merit list will be drawn up.

6. Counselling and Admission: Candidates who made it to the shortlist shall be routed to counselling, after which they will be allotted to any of the courses B.Ed or D.El.Ed depending on their rank of merit and availability of seats.

7. Fee Payment: Selected candidates are required to pay the necessary fee to confirm their admissions.

8. Document Verification: The verification of all documents by the college shall be the final check of admission by this college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed course planned at Bonanza College of Education has a duration of two years and is based on a full-time basis. The college has a total of 100 seats for admission into this programme. Admission in B.Ed course shall be on merit, such merit to be based on the consideration of qualifying examination along with entrance examination, if any. Alternatively, it would further be contingent on the procedure initiated by either the state government or the university.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed programme is also a full-time course for two years. The course offers the college with the same 100 seats as the B.Ed programme. The admission procedure for D.El.Ed is the same as that for B.Ed, and candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the communication laid down by the concerned authorities.

Both courses are offered on both these campuses ensure that all the norms and procedures for admission will be fairly transparent and duly followed and respected as per laws and regulation imposed by the governing agencies.
