Hindustan College of Pharmacy, Kottayam, was founded in 2018 as a collegiate institution for the intellectual study of the pharmaceutical sciences in Kerala, India. This affiliated college situated at chenapady P.O Kanjirappally, Kottayam spread across 2.5 acres area. PCI recognised and AICTE accredited institute offers a high quality education in the field of pharmacy to its students. Currently, HCP has 130 students and faculty of 23 members which makes the college ideal for anybody who wants to be a pharmacist.

Hindustan College of Pharmacy has put in place number of amenities that seek to improve the learning process of the learners. A well-stocked library is central to development of the knowledge-base imperative for pharmaceutical education. Among the special facilities of the college are teaching pharmaceutical laboratories that allow students to gain practical experience in their subject. The institute provides facilities for sports and also has an auditorium for any related event such as a seminar. There is also good information technology on the campus, which enhances the students to use relevant technology for their work. Hindustan College of Pharmacy has presently offered two basic programmes in the pharmacy stream. The institute offers B.Pharma – a four-year, full-time course having 100 students’ intake capacities and D.Pharma – a two-year, full time course of 60 intake capacities. These two programmes aims at offering enriched content knowledge and professional competencies for successful Careers in the pharmaceutical field. The total number of students for these two courses is 160 and the figures demonstrate that the college is keen in ensuring that has adequate number of students to allow the ratio of students to faculty to help in enhancing learning.
