About SASTRA Online
SASTRA Online is an e-learning division of Shanmugha Arts Science Technology Research and Academy (SASTRA University). The university offers eight UGC-approved online degree programmes at UG and PG levels. Online degrees offered by SASTRA Online are Online BBA, Online BCA, Online B.Com, Online MBA, Online MCA, Online M.Sc, and Online MA in various streams.
Admission to SASTRA Online courses is merit-based. Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria for their chosen programme. They must apply online through the official website. The fees of SASTRA Online courses vary depending on the course level. For UG online courses, the fees range between Rs 36,000 to Rs 60,000. The fees for PG courses range from Rs 18,000 to Rs 2,20,000.
The duration of online UG courses is three years, whereas the online PG course duration is two years. SASTRA University follows an evaluation pattern consisting of Internal Assessment (30 marks) and End semester Exams (70 marks). The online protected examination will be of three hours and conducted at the end of the semester for each credited course.
