    About Jeevan College of Education, Manapparai

    Jeevan College of Education is an affiliated college situated at Manapparai, Tamil Nadu state of India which was started in the year 2007. This co-educational college occupies a small area of 0.1 acre of land and aims at producing quality educators of the future. Being approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college currently runs two full -time courses of Education with a combined student strength of 293. The faculty is comprised of 20 graduate educators to ensure proper method of handling students and employ knowledgeable staff which will be explained later on.

    The college has fully equipped facilities to complement its instructional program in order to provide quality education to its students. A well stocked library in a school being more of an information center stocked with books, journals and other informative materials. Hearing to the college’s topic, it has technologically equipped computer laboratory with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi connection and making available fifty-five (55) computers together with appropriate soft ware to cater for learning and research. A computer based communication skills laboratory enable students to fine tune interpersonal communication. In the regard to the physical health the institution promote participation of indoor and outdoor activities in sporting.

    Jeevan College of Education offers two primary courses. programs of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M. Ed). They are both Type 2 courses, fully fledged courses taking two academic years each for the students. The course of B.Ed has an intake capacity of 100 students and the M.Ed course has a intake capacity of 50 students only.
