Mohini Devi Goenka Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Lachhmangarh, is a women’s college, established in 1995, at Sikar in Rajasthan. This affiliated institution, right for the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), has undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The college occupies a land area of 28 acres, takes a total of 430 students and it has a teaching staff of 37 members. As a women friendly institution, the college offers five distinct programs in arts, sciences and education for women alone.

The college boasts of the provision of range of updated facilities which supplement the learning process of the students. The campus has functional computerised library well equipped with books, local and international magazines, and journals on various fields. Under the facilities’ category, the college boasts some of the best of all trades, a swimming pool, horse riding ring, basketball, volleyball and handball courts. The IT related infrastructure is very strong and there is is well-equipped computerized labs with modern computers. A high speed Leased line of 8 Mbps Internet connection and Wi – fi connectivity is available throughout the campus for the students . The college also has well equipped science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, it also boasts of a modern language laboratory to improve the fluency of English.

At present it offers a total of five full time courses in the level of undergraduate as well as in postgraduate level. The institution offers three-year Bachelors in Arts (BA) and Science (B.Sc. intakes 120 students for each course). Also, integrated self-financed four-year B.Ed programmes in Arts (BA B.Ed) and Science ( B.Sc B.Ed) for 50 students are available. For the other more qualified students, the college also offers a two years masters degree in Botany known as M.Sc. The above programs enrol a total of 340 students and the college strives to offer education to women in different disciplines.

The admission procedure in Mohini Devi Goenka Mahila Mahavidyalaya is mostly dependent on the consolidated score of marks in the qualifying examination at the 10+2 level for Under graduate programmes. The admissions for the integrated B.Ed programmes are as per the marks in the qualifying examination, as well as in the entrance test as mandated by the State Government, University /UT Administration. 

Education hence includes not only academic programmes but also co-curricular activities carrying out by the college to develop students fully. In this regard, though more information on this noble offer is not available because of the lack of identifiable scholarship information, the institution offers assistance to deserving students.
