Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management for Women Bhopal has been set up in 2010 to provide management education to the women empowerment. It is an affiliated college based at Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bhopal which follows the standard set up by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute provides two focused management programmes and cumulatively it has a student capacity of 667 with faculty strength of seven professionals. It is popularly known as SHIM which is a management institution especially for women with ambitions of being Director’s, preparing them to face corporate world.

Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management for Women has well equipped and well sized state of the art facilities and equipment for the students’ learning energy. Department has a rich library which is fully equipped with all sorts of management literature along with electronic resources. Sophisticated it facilities help the students avail new technological facilities obtain by business world map. SHIM, for comprehensive consumption, has a well-equipped gym among other different sporting facilities. The campus also has an attractive facility in a facility of an auditorium so as to encourage seminars, conferences and other cultural activities. A cafeteria is provided with hygienically prepared and balanced diet meal, and there are guest house accommodations for visiting personnel of the institute as well as their family, since the institute takes its hospitality very seriously.

Currently, institution’s academic programmes are aligned to the dynamic market needs by SHIM. The institute provides two full-time courses: MBA and MBA Integrated, which is two years MBA programme and five years MBA programme respectively. The MBA programme has been allowed to take a total of 180 students, but its main course is to provide an integrated management programme to the students.
