Shree Sabal Mahila Teachers Training College was set up in 1997 in Borunda, Jodhpur, Rajasthan and now a renowned institute. As a women only college, this institution is training future educators with a B.Ed programme that has been accredited by the NCTE. Located on a vast area of 40.05 acres, the college takes a total of 541 students and 29 faculty members and teachers per section, resulting in student-oriented education.

Shree Sabal Mahila Teachers Training College is willing to make sure that students study in comfortable environment in well equipped operating premises. Its well equipped I.T facilities are a computer lab with 11 computers, a number of printers and internet connectivity to make students apply what they have learnt in teaching techniques. Technology lab is a prominent one with audio-video gear including film and slide projector and material for making teaching aids. A primary facility of the college is the library with a collection of over 8,081 books 200 reference books and ten journal subscriptions to encourage the spirit of learning and research among learners. The college also provides good accommodation amenities for students coming from other cities. The girls’ hostel comprises 30 neat and spacious rooms equipped with toilets, kitchen, and dining hall. There are three beds, study tables, chairs and storage racks in each room. The hostel is provided with round the clock water provision in summer and also Schmidt coolers and Allen pure water for convenience of its occupants. This college aims at the all-round development of students besides providing sound academic training. It has the necessary amenities for sporting activities indoor and outdoor and a gym for physical workout, an auditorium for cultural activities and seminars. On the same, there exists a health centre, first aid facilities, a canteen, and a guest house.

B.Ed programme is offered by Shree Sabal Mahila Teachers Training College with an approved strength of 300 students. This course is a two years full course produced to prepare those interested in teaching careers with adequate skills and knowledge on how to teach. Teaching experience areas of education technology, psychology, administration, and content area strategies all interact with the modern classroom and are incorporated into the programme.
