Harihar located Srisaila College of Education is one of the oldest institutions, founded in 1972 and committed to constructing the future. This affiliated college is located in Vageesh Nagar, Harihar, Karnataka and has been preparing those who wish to be educators for more than 50 years. Srisaila College of Education, NAAC accredited and NCTE approved, provides a sound teaching training ground to the enthusiasts. Located in a vast campus of 13.244 acres, the college is at present accommodating 42 learners and has employed a set of eight committed faculty members. However, since the institution is a co-educational institution, there are two degree programmes in education for both the undergraduate and post graduate levels.

Srisaila College of Education is proud of featuring one of the best facility packages that enable the college learning experience of the students. One of the essential facilities on the ground floor is a well-stocked library, which is a source of knowledge where students read books, periodicals, encyclopaedias, and research journals, among others. The M.Ed. programme has an approved intake capacity of fifty seats to encourage a number of students for postgraduate study in education.
