SCMC Pune Admission Process
Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC) Pune offers full-time undergraduate programmes in BA Mass Communication and BBA Media Management. Interested candidates must register for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and select SCMC Pune admissions while completing the online application on the official portal.
SCMC Pune admissions are based on SET performance followed by a Personal Interaction (PI) round. Final admission at SCMC Pune is granted upon evaluation of entrance test scores, PI, verification of documents, and completion of all admission formalities within the given timeline.

How to Apply for SCMC Pune Admission 2025?
Candidates need to follow the below mentioned SCMC Pune application process before taking SCMC Pune admission.
Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication Pune Registration Process 2025
Visit the official SET 2025 registration portal.
Register and fill out the SET 2025 application form.
Select SCMC Pune and the desired programme (BA in Mass Communication / BBA in Media Management).
Choose ‘SET-General’ under the afternoon session.
Finalise your application and complete all required steps.
Appear for the SET exam as scheduled.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online Personal Interaction (PI) round.

SCMC Pune Admission Process 2025 for UG Courses
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.
SCMC admissions are conducted in two rounds: SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) and Personal Interaction (PI).
Apply for SET by paying a Rs 2,250 non-refundable fee on the official website.
Select SCMC Pune and pay an additional Rs 1,000 per programme (BA Mass Communication / BBA Media Management).
Choose ‘SET-General’ under the afternoon session and select the desired SCMC programmes.
Finalise your application and complete the payment process.
After the SET, shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interaction (PI) conducted online.
A separate PI is held for each programme and includes document verification.
Attending all parts of the PI is mandatory to be considered for the final merit list.

since i am doing film production the faculty comes from all over india and the world. they have a lot of experience in the field and they are very passionate about their projects. it definitely makes you job ready for the future.
College Infra
the infrastructure is very reliable. they have excellent facilities for students. they have great staff that will help students get the best hygiene. they have great computers that will make students more efficient.
Placements
the placements are the best in my opinion but the only people i know have gotten jobs through personal relationships with people in the industry. Internship opportunities are available from the first semester.

I am studying Film Production. The faculty has good certification and open to new ideas. The curriculum makes students very job ready. The faculty is in constant communication with students and have a open door policy.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is so good. I would definitely recommend coming here. The classrooms are very spacious and inviting. They offer apple Macbooks in the third year which makes us industry ready.
Placements
Compared to other colleges the placements at SCMC are okay. Internship placements start from the end of your first year itself which makes the students more job ready after the third year. The highest salary was 9 lakh LPA

The faculty of SCMC is very certified. They are very helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. The curriculum is update to all recent developments. They make sure you are very job ready in today’s industry.
College Infra
The infrastructure of the college is very good. The living spaces are the hostels which are clean but not that hygienic. Good smart boards, big classrooms, air conditioning in all classrooms make it very easy for students.
Placements
Placements are good. We have to do an internship after every year which makes us feel more confident about the job. We are all working together from the first semester. The placement cell is very helpful for this.
