SIBM Hyderabad Scholarship and Eligibility Criteria

The institute offers scholarships to students based on their academic performance. Tabulated below are the scholarships offered by SIBM Hyderabad.

Scholarship	Eligibility Criteria
Post Graduate (MBA) scholarship for IIT Graduates	Candidates will get fee waiver as he/she joins the MBA programme after making it on the merit list after clearing the SNAP and GE PIWAT process. For this scholarship scheme, five candidates are chosen based on the total composite score (SNAP + GE PIWAT score). If two candidates have the same score, then the candidate with the higher SNAP score will qualify for the scholarship. The maximum fee waiver in the first year of the MBA programme would amount to 20% of the academic fee alone.
International Scholarship	Candidates must hold a valid foreign passport. Candidates should have secured more than 50% as a qualifying grade in the 12th standard. Obtained more than 50% as a qualifying grade in Graduation (in the case of postgraduate programmes). Those who have appeared for an English Proficiency Test conducted by the British Council (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6 or the IELA Test with a minimum band of 3.
NER Scholarships for students from North-East Region	Candidates should have appeared for SET/SNAP/any other entrance exam of SIU and secured admission on merit to the programmes for which scholarships are given. NER Scholarships are only for candidates bearing domicile certificate of any of the eight states of NER. Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% or equivalent grade in case of SC/ST) at the 12th standard or equivalent exam. The infrastructure at sibm Hyderabad is average. The classrooms are spacious and well-equipped with morden aminities. The library is well stocked, and the computer labs are up to date. However the hostels are a bit cramped and could be better.

Sibm Hyderabad has a well maintained campus with all the necessary facilities for students. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids. The hostel facilities are also good, with clean and comfortable rooms.

College Infrastructure

The college has basic facilities like classrooms, a library, sports centres and hostels. However, they are not well-maintained, and some of them are outdated. The wifi is slow and the smart boards are often not working.

Coming to your question, NO you cannot get admission into Symbiosis without giving the SET. The admission will only be provided through the entrance exam conducted by the university. Other than this there is no other way. So, you need compulsorily give this exam.
