College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is very good. It has a small campus yet it's beautifully maintained. Since the campus has only two course building, law and Management, it is small but it has its own perks. The fests organized has limited people and hence you can enjoy completely with people whom you know.
Academics
Best of all. They are very specific about the deadlines of any project. The faculty is very experienced like the ones who studied from JNU, Jamia Milia etc. Many judges and Chairmpersons come for guest lectures which is the best thing about being situated in Delhi NCR.
Placements
Since the college is new the placements are average but if you work hard here, definitely you can make a way. The college has its fully functional placement and internship cell which is a huge plus point. There is a strong alumni base who are working in top tier one law firms across the country.
Value-for-money
Definitely worth the money if you put in efforts.
Campus Life
No boys hostel though yet there is a very vibrant campus life. Regular weekly cultural nights are conducted which is a blessing in this law school after tough weekly acads schedule.
Anything Else
Symbiosis Law School Noida had definitely been one of my best choice till date. The college is blessed with a fabulous geographical location I. E. Delhi NCR which makes its growth at par to the NLUs after top 6 ones. The college is blessed with amazing Director, Prof Dr. C. J. Rawandale who is one of the most determined deans across the country. His dedication and interactions with the students is one of the biggest reason for the college's growth. It's definitely good choice after top 6 nlus.

College Infrastructure
The classrooms are equipped with Edusmart and Wi-Fi facility throughout the air-conditioned campus. There is a sprawling basketball court and tennis/badminton court.Campus accomodation(both AC and Non AC) is provided for girls but the seats are limited and given on first come-first serve basis. There is a mess and canteen too.Not only is the library excellent, there are lots of online resources for study too. Boys can seek accomodation outside the campus in affordable paying guest services.
Academics
I chose to study this program because it provides a one year benefit and is a focused way to reach my goal.SLS NOIDA teaches professional subjects from the first year itself which is quite unlikely in even government colleges of law.The faculty here is highly experienced and very qualified.Ability is a subjective word hence I would say that the faculty strikes a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, not to forget in-depth knowledge and experience.
Placements
I believe the key factor influencing a law college's value is its placement which is good. The college has a highly active placement and internship cell. But no stones will be unturned without the effort of the students. There is a Pre Placement Offer(PPO) culture and there are recruitment visits by renowned companies-AZB,Luthra and Luthra, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan,Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas,Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas etc.
Value-for-money
The fee is Rs, 3,00,000/- per annum including the refundable security fee. On campus accomodation fee is charged separately.
Campus Life
I found the environment of the college very welcoming and teachers were motivating. But the rules are very stringent-be it attendance, examination, project submission deadline or your responsiveness in class. The five years of this law school will will inculcate one into a thorough and dynamic professional. Thus it is necessary to take this strictness in good sense as it will discipline you and be a guiding source of light.

This is a military school. The SST (Symbiosis NOIDA Standard Time) is 5 minutes 50 seconds ahead of the IST. And you have to very badly adhere to the timing rules. Even if you are late by 0.01 second, you won't be allowed to attend the lecture which means that you lose the attendance for that lecture. Rules related to uniform are also very strict. You can't even fold your sleeves in hot summers. 75% attendance rule is a must and one more important point is that medical grounds are not at all considered for exemptions. So, you are dying in a hospital, the college doesn't care. If by any chance you are saved and you find that the semester attendance is below 75%, then congratulations TNG (Term not Granted) will be given for sure. The schedule is really very badly hectic and most of the teachers are not so friendly regarding the schedule shift. You will run throughout the semester like headless chicken and then at the last you will realize that half of the year is gone and the only thing you learnt is to handle pressure. You won't be getting time to talk to parents even. You will having tutorial and just after tutorial projects submissions along with 2-3 vivas on the same dates and no teacher will listening to your excuse of submission and etc. Just after projects you again have tutorial two. Mooting culture and research culture is really good and the cells are highly active. However other cells like sports, debate, cultural, CSR are not so looked up and supported by the college as it should have been by a brand called Symbiosis. Resources are weak. Good thing is that you learn good professionalism. You learn to handle pressure. Some faculties are really very good. They are required to be honored. They equip you with skills and knowledge, not marks, which is a remarkable thing in today's world. The overall atmosphere supports learning and acquiring skills rather than marks. You understand the difference between democracy and dictatorship. The faculties are sporty and the fest is good but the schedule is again hectic.

The course is built on the semester system with each year containing two semesters. The schedule can be quite tiresome as even a slight delay of five mins in the morning’s amounts to you not being allowed to enter the classroom and the importance given to attendance does not help. There is a strict adherence to 75% attendance policy. Even a slight difference of 0.2% amounts to a TNG (Term Not Granted) which implies that you are ineligible to give the final external exams. There are 3 Internal Assessments amounting to 40% of your total marks throughout the semester; which include two tutorials and a research paper. The 60% comes from an exam at the end of the Semester The College boasts of a portal which provides notes by the faculty as well as an active place where discussions relating to every aspect of law and the various supplementing subjects are discussed and debated by faculty and students alike. There is an active mooting culture with selections in two stages biannually. The NASCENT Moot Court Competition is held every year for 1st year students and a team of 18 students is selected. The ASCENT Moot Court Competition is held every year wherein students from 2nd -5th year can apply, this also includes the existing mooting contingent. This ensures a fair competition and keeps the mooting contingent in top shape. The campus is in a prime business district. There are malls and a lot of restaurants nearby. It is close to all the basic amenities and is fairy accessible by metro. There are also a lot of PGs available for students. All the students are made to do two-month compulsory internship every year. The college provides good internship placements and maintains strict professionalism when it comes to handing internships. The administration is efficient and strictly follows the rules and procedures set by the university. It is tedious at times to provide an application for the smallest of jobs. However, it helps instil a professional behaviour from the very start. There is a very strict policy of wearing the college uniform. It almost feels like I am still in school and will get reprimanded for wearing the wrong shoes or the lack of the tie. You are required to wear the uniform all days of the week, except Wednesdays and Saturdays. The lack of even one of the elements of the uniforms results in being asked to leave the class.

SLS NOIDA has a remarkable faculty providing a lot of support and opportunities to develope and transform students into successful professionals. SLS NOIDA provides learners with all the required technical and material resources to help overcome all the obstacles in the path of learning and to make this process more effective. Even though, being established a few years ago it has already got itself placed among the best law schools in India with one of the best mooting and debating contingent achieving accolades in various competitions all around India.

Life at Symbiosis, it's overall a very good experience. Infrastructure is not so good but the faculties and resources provided by the institute are unbeatable. One will get immense exposure to the legal industry. Everyone can contact directly to every faculty and lots more. And above all, Symfiesta, Annual Youth Fest of Symbiosis, NOIDA. the best 72 hours of the year.

Course Structure – The course is built on the semester system with each year containing two semesters. The course plan is deliberated upon by subject specialists before the beginning of every semester in the form of a Teaching Plan put forth in the college portal-Curiosity. Choice of Electives is given from the Second year itself. Class Hours – Classes begin at 9:15 in the morning and go on till 1:40 in the afternoon, 12 P.M on Saturdays with two breaks-10 mins and 30 mins. There are specific days when the classes stretch to 3:15 to accommodate the compulsory extra subject options provided from the second semester. This can be quite tiresome as even a slight delay of five mins in the morning’s amounts to you not being allowed to enter the classroom and the importance given to attendance does not help. Evaluation Methodology – There are 3 Internal Assessments amounting to 40% of your total marks throughout the semester; which include two tutorials and a research paper. The 60% comes from an exam at the end of the Semester Attendance – There is a strict adherence to 75% attendance policy. Even a slight difference of 0.2% amounts to a TNG (Term Not Granted) which implies that you are ineligible to give the final external exams. Student Culture and Activities Curiosity – The College boasts of a portal which is dedicated to providing notes by the faculty as well as an active place where discussions relating to every aspect of law and the various supplementing subjects are discussed and debated by faculty and students alike. The students are persuaded to have their own opinions and the faculty is open to new ideas. Moots – There is an active moot culture with selections in two stages biannually. The NASCENT Moot Court Competition is held every year for 2nd-year students and a team of 18 students is selected. The NASCENT Moot Court Competition is held every year wherein students from 2nd - the 5th year can apply, this also includes the existing mooting contingent. This ensures a fair competition and keeps the mooting contingent in top shape. Other co-curricular, extra-curricular activities – There is always some activity that happens over the course of the year and the college ensures that there are auditions for every competition, which ensures a fair chance to all. There is also an annual college fest-Symfiesta ,which is a 3-day event full of fun and frolic. Societies/ Committees – There are so many that I can’t even name all of them. Most of them are fairly active and take up good initiatives. Location The campus is located in a prime business district. There are malls and a lot of restaurants nearby. It is close to all the basic amenities and is fairly accessible by metro. There are also a lot of PGs available for students. Placements at Symbiosis Law School The college is in its first year of graduation and hence has average placement. However, all the students are made to do two-month compulsory internship every year. The college provides good internship placements and maintains strict professionalism when it comes to handing internships. Administration and Fees Administration – The administration is efficient and strictly follows the rules and procedures set by the university. It is tedious at times to provide an application for the smallest of jobs. However, it helps instil a professional behaviour from the very start. Fees – Refer to website. It is around 1.75 Lakhs per year. Dress code – There is a very strict policy of wearing the college uniform. It almost feels like I am still in school and will get reprimanded for wearing the wrong shoes or the lack of the tie. You will not find any student wearing Jeans or T-Shirts. You are required to wear the uniform all days of the week, except Wednesdays and Saturdays. The lack of even one of the elements of the uniforms results in being asked to leave the class. Good things The college encourages you to participate in moots and other academic as well as co-curricular and sports by providing you monetary reimbursements as well as exemptions from lectures. However, it goes without saying that a strict check is kept on you when you are provided with exemptions for a judicious utilization of the time. Bad things The tedious procedures that need to be followed to get any job done. The emphasis is given to 75% attendance mark. Other things about Symbiosis Law School All in all, I like the professionalism that the college so aptly shapes us for and recommend this college to prospective law students. Tell us about the infrastructure of your college The infrastructure is very compact and lacks huge open space Classrooms – The Academic Block is spread over three floors in a four storied building. The classrooms are spacious and are provided with uninterrupted electricity, a state of the art projectors and speakers and air conditioners. Additionally, the whole campus has pretty fast Wi-Fi, though you can’t access your social Networking sites. However, the phone signals are very low and often make you feel frustrated when you have an important call to make. Canteens – The canteen is relatively small and is shared with the SCMS Campus. The food quality is average. Hostels – There is a girl’s hostel on campus with extremely strict rules and a curfew akin to that of a 14-year-old. There are restrictions on the clothes to be worn outside the room and a very strict policy against use of basic electronic gadgets, which are somewhat baseless. The rooms which are given on a triple sharing basis have the bare essentials and have coolers installed in them. There is no Boys hostel on campus. Library – The library is relatively small and has problems issuing books on various subjects. There are tedious rules and inconvenient procedures which I find a bit baseless. However, it is a perfect place to sit and study for hours on end.

Excellent faculty. Endeavours to provide every possible opportunity to get over all exposure. Vicinity to Delhi NCR adds to the opportunities available to the students. The college endeavours to indulge students in s number of positive and important co-curricular and extra curricular activities in order to ensure the overall development as a lawyer.

We have an auditorium which can accommodate almost every college student. We have AC classes and we also have a moot-court. There are so many guest lectures been delivered by the employees who are associated with the reputed firms which give us the exposure to the outside world. Then the system of having or doing the internship after every semester break gives us the opportunity to have a hand on experience of the working environment. The crowd here is worth keeping the contacts for forever!

The college has wonderful faculties who develop such nice student-teacher relationship that everybody likes and enjoy. I am so excited about the placements because our seniors are all well placed in the reputed firms. The college has a learning environment that helps us develop our skills. We have moot-court sessions too. There are so many guest lectures that we have on a regular basis that we get a lot of industry exposure. The student crowd here is all good and nice. The most thing I like the most is being a part of such reputed college.

The faculty here is interactive and there is overall development of a student.College uses interactive technologies So to make the classes interesting and increase participation of various students. Also, it provides us the platform to represent the college at a national and international level which encourage us to excel in the field of our choice. The infrastructure of college is good. It has the good library with and a number of books and materials online available which widens our scope for reading and studying. It also provides us the opportunity of presenting research papers and participating in moot competitions which enhance our personality and provides us knowledge in different fields. Taking admission in this college is a good opportunity and the law aspirants should take up the opportunity and excel in the field they chose.

The college being located in Delhi NCR provides a lot of exposure to students in terms of Industry experience, court experience etc. The director of the college is a visionary who is actively involved in the betterment of the college and hence the college is giving a tough competition to the NLUs in terms of moot court Competition and placements.

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA is really more of a school than a college. We have to wear the college uniform except for Wednesdays and Saturdays. There is strict discipline on the campus and meeting deadlines is very important. The college has various societies and cells where a student can get into according to their choice after they get selected. The college has a fully functional placement cell which provides internships to the learners. My college helps me in becoming a better individual every day.

Symbiosis Law School, Noida, suffices the basic infrastructural facilities, although it could have more creative spaces on the campus, as well as a larger campus, definitely. For a better Industry Exposure, college should have a better student-teacher interaction and the less perpendicular relationship between the two. There should be a genuine model of growth established. College life could undoubtedly be more happening if there was more space to be creative and open. If there could be less of a formal system, but more of an informal space, considering it's college life, and here is the only time students gets to be expressive. For the placement- related questions, college should make sure that there is a clear, transparent way of communication, and every student is given a chance. They shouldn't work against students due to rules and regulations, but help them in cases of genuine student capability. College hostels could have been more furnished, and more lively. The food could have been better too. College professors are like every other college, they span in their own performance and intellectual capacity. I am very happy with my 4th-year-semester professors, did have complaints before, but they are all gone. Student diversity is impacting my college in the way, that there are student groups from different places and cities, and I think it's hard for those students to come out of the shell and the idea that now they are in a new place and they should embrace all different people and perspectives. They end up forming their own groups, but that greatly differs from batch to batch and intellectual levels. The college is affordable in the sense that every other law space in the country, has the same fee pattern, or actually greater. Considering that, it is quite affordable. For me, personally, I have made this college space where I can just focus on my own individual development and growth. Every place may disappoint you, and some things you may like, but at the end of the day, it is up to you to make the best of the opportunities a place presents you, and this college definitely has a lot of opportunities for grabs.

I am a final year student in my college and my overall review after completing 4 years in the college is, in one word, exhilarating. I would first like to speak about the brand of Symbiosis and how well has the college in Noida done as compared to its sister college in Pune in terms of quality education and exposure to the field of law. I believe that SLS Noida has in terms of its location, definitely taken the prize for exposure given to the students. Being in the capital region of India, Delhi NCR is happening in terms of all kinds of law-related events such as panel discussions, debates, and conferences. Attending such events gives the student that extra time to rub shoulders with the prominent in the field of law and a chance to interact with the best. Secondly, in terms of the quality of education, the Symbiosis International University has taken their facilities from Pune to Noida. The faculty can be much better, though. The students have been given an opportunity to participate in a plethora of legal events such as moot courts, research papers, etc. However, in terms of the faculty of SLS Noida, there are this handful of professors which do not provide that quality education expected from a brand such as Symbiosis. The infrastructure is another area which can be much better. There is a central building which includes classrooms, library, and a moot court hall. But the campus has a rather small library, non-constructed pathways which are filled with puddles during rains, no auditorium, and only a girl's hostel. This typically limits the students who usually come from different cities to also experience the campus life of a college which is lacking here. Finally, in terms of placements, my college is relatively new and there have only been two pass-out batches, but most of the students have been placed in good law firms and the exposure the college gives to the students in terms of internships and opportunities is very good. The overall view of this college is definitely good. Since in terms of affordability and crowd, the college is very well ahead in both the areas. It is definitely one of the top colleges in India.

Perfect place to match intention with action. The library is perfect upto infinity and beyond. The happy go lucky cum responsible teachers make it awesome. Extra curricular activities are a icing on the cake. It doesn't make book worms...it makes a lawyer is simply best...take him to parties or for mooting...SLS Noida is gonna succeed.

First things first, at the time of Induction followed by the Orientation lectures two things will occur to you at once, one being the strict college policy as to the mandatory attendance/consequential TNG and second that this isn't a college but a law school(Yes, I meant uniform). Once you are here, you will realize that how good the faculty and infrastructure of this institution is, be it Air-conditioned classrooms with projector facilities or the exceptionally accommodating and knowledgeable teachers. The course plan is forwarded to you even before the Semester begins so that you can plan the occasional home visits (For Outstation learners). The curiosity portal is the domain where you will find all that you need, the Teaching Plans, the course materials and what not. So, one thing that is made sure that you are connected to learning always. Curiosity portal not only ensures connectivity and availability beyond the law school premises but also ensures that the system is transparent to one's need, as the attendance and marks in individual subjects are uploaded on the portal. Having said all of the above, you should keep one thing in mind before you prepare yourself for SLS, that it will be a place where learning is the sine qua non and be a law learner, it will make, what is so needed, out of you.

Symbiosis Law School, Noida in the just seventh year of its inception has carved a niche for itself in the legal fraternity. It has a 4-storied building with air-conditioned classrooms, computer labs, library, moot court hall, canteen, basketball court, badminton court, gym. Construction of another building is in progress. The teachers are very well qualified. Training & placements cell of the college provides internships to all the students after every semester according to their area of interest. The college also has societies and cells like moot court society, social welfare cell, research and publication cell, in cell, international cell, enacts, cultural society, photography society, debate society, sports society, a literary society, drama society, music society, and quiz society. The college gives the platform to every kind of talent to develop. To support research and publication, the college provides complete reimbursement of expenses for two research papers per student, every semester. Every week, the college organizes a session for students to interact with some eminent personality of the legal fraternity. The college also gives free access to more than 15 legal databases to the students. Though there is no boys hostel, there are two hostels for girls with the total capacity of accommodating around 300 girls. The rooms are on triple sharing basis. Every room has basic amenities like wi-fi, geyser, 24 hours power backup, cleaning staff, drinking water, etc. There is also a mess which provides hygienic and healthy meals to the students. The college has Symbiosis Centre for Health Care which provides 24-hours on-campus doctor, yearly health checkup and medical insurance of Rs. 1 Lakh to all the students. The college is strictly against ragging and follows the anti-ragging policy as laid down by the UGC. Finally, let me talk about the best three days of every year academic year, i.e. SymFiesta. It is the annual national youth fest of the college and the most awaited event for every student. Students from more than 70 prestigious colleges across the nation take part in the fest. We have performances from various reputed national and international bands and DJs on all three nights. In a nutshell, Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA truly gives you the best of everything.

The college infrastructure is amazing with fully AC classes. The college has a library, an auditorium, and a moot court too. The faculties here are really helpful. We have so many guest lectures of high profile people, from which we get a lot of industry exposure. The crowd is an added advantage here which helps in the holistic development of an individual.

The college has the potential to lead and discover it's intellectual gift, yet, lacks the intention and guidance to pursue the same. There are very few debates and discourses on the campus and the entire college is very mechanical. However, the Professors are filled with knowledge and ever willing to help. Since it is a new campus, one has the liberty to start new projects.

The College life could have been better. The infrastructure is incomplete and has made very little progress over the last 5 years. However, the faculty is knowledgeable and is almost always ready to help you with your problems and doubts. The method of teaching is commendable. At the same time, they also manage to bring noted guest lecturers regularly to give us talks on relevant subjects.

SLSN is located in the prime location of Sec 62, Noida. It is an industrial area having flats, pgs, market, shopping malls, and eateries in its vicinity, which is quite helpful, catering to the routine needs to students. The college now also has its second building under construction, which would be an add on to the existing brilliant infrastructure, with the second building coming up, the campus would definitely become a lot bigger. There are 2 buildings of the hostel accommodation, available only for girls. The faculty of the college is quite learned, friendly and knowledgeable, always available for a healthy discussion with the students. The college while giving extreme importance to discipline and academics also hosts a no. Of events around the year. Discipline is given exception importance in college, from a tidy and we'll groomed student to wearing proper uniforms and being on time is thoroughly kept in check. Students are given proper exposure to the industrial working of the legal practice by providing 2 mandatory internships in a year, which are also available through college if the students so apply. The attendance is an issue as the college is very strict with its 75% mark and no excuse for an absence of the same is granted. It caters to students from all sectors and regions of India.

Our college has a well-equipped library and resources. To enhance our corporate exposure, we are addressed by the renowned guest speakers and also we are sent for various seminars, moots, and other extra co-curricular activities. The college has always provided support in terms of internships at best of the places. College life is enjoyable mainly because of the environment we are made to study in and secondly by the friends who make it worth living. The crowd belongs to various regions of the country and also includes international students. We do have the best of the faculty but we do expect from few of them to focus more on practical aspects. There are not many placement-related concerns because our college timings are flexible enough to allow us to do running internships which provide an exposure to the practical world along with the courses. We are allowed to do chose our specialisation courses by 4th year. Hostel needs few improvements in terms of quality of food being provided. Although the hostel is not compulsory for girls. A boys hostel needs to be constructed as freshers do come across various problems at the earlier stage.

The infrastructure is average. We have the basic amenities like library, computer lab etc. but they are sufficient and not enough. The faculty for the initial year is average but improves quite a lot as the year increases. The college is fairly new however affiliated to a renowned university which helps with placements and internships. The college lacks an On-campus hostel for boys which created a lot of issues for many boys. Most of the boys are residing in the flats, PGs, and a hostel that our college has a tie-up with due to no hostel facilities. There is, however, a girls hostel on-campus which is extremely nice though not that cost efficient. There are attached bathrooms and balconies with every room, table-chair, and almirahs for all the 3 students in the room (triple-sharing rooms and the only option available). The rooms are spacious and there is a continuous supply of water and electricity. There are 2 dogs living on campus as a part of Pet-therapy. The security is very good and the food is also decent. The college life is extremely fun due to the continuous happening of events like the national cultural fest etc. There are a lot of hang out places for students due to the location of the college. It gives them a nice exposure to Delhi and NCR. The college is a little expensive for a middle class Indian family, however it is the student's effort that can make the best out of the opportunities and get back a ROI.

The college is located at a very good location with central and south Delhi half an hour away. the internship experience and industry exposure are amazing. it is great in quantity as well as rich in quality. There is also a strong alumni network of students of SLS Pune who come and guide us, judge moots, mentor us etc. Also, the courts and major offices of most law firms are within driving distance which helps us get excellent exposure.

A Drab Experience

My experience at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA is bad. The college has a decent library, and fairly good classrooms, which are air conditioned. Some of the faculty members are excellent, and their methods of teaching at times seem unorthodox, yet exemplary. But one of many things, that may seem a drab is an over-emphasis on sticking to rules and guidelines. While such a policy has successfully ensured the prevalence of an anti-ragging attitude in college, it is the over-emphasis on 75% attendance that seems disconcerting. As a consequence, the faculty uses this as a blackmailing tool to scare students like us, who are well over the age of twenty. The policy of compulsory uniforms also seems juvenile and child-like. But what is most annoying at times is the over-emphasis of this college on internships. While this may be a boon for those students who want to enter the corporate world, isn't doing much service for those who want non-corporate jobs, and it definitely doesn't help those who want to pursue non-legal fields such as IAS. Compulsory internships ensure that students do not find time to pursue other interests. The "Internship Presentation" policy of this college is something that is unique as well as plain annoying- as if students are being forced to intern, which is true. The college also lacks diversity- apart from the annual college fest "Symfiesta", there isn't much encouragement from the college for participation in events of other activities, such as quizzing etc. Only legal event participants are encouraged and unless they represent the college, they are not exempted from classes and face attendance issues. The 75 % attendance rule is something which is constantly a source of frustration for students- with students not even being granted leave on medical grounds sometimes. In short, internships and attendance are bullying students here. And in an internship, you must go beyond in conducting yourself nicely, "or you tarnish the college's reputation" in the process. However, the best part about this college are fellow students, friends, and classmates who are always cheerful. They make an otherwise drab experience worthwhile.

Going to law school was a dream come true for me and the fact that I was a part of the brand name Symbiosis was like an icing on the cake. I was initially a little sceptical about the fact that the college was just two years old and we were only the third batch. But as soon as I walked into the orientation on the first day all of that just vanished. The atmosphere in the college was so friendly and at the same time challenging. Symbiosis not only taught me to think big and think far but also push my limits. The management in the college ensured that though we were new we were given the right kind and quality of exposure.
