SSE Pune Admission Process
Symbiosis School of Economics Pune offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and postgraduate diploma programmes. Candidates seeking SSE admission to these programmes first have to meet the eligibility criteria. After meeting the eligibility criteria, students have to follow the SSE Pune admission process. SSE Pune admission to undergraduate course involves Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI). SSE Pune admission to postgraduate course involves WAT and PI, both conducted online. For admission in SSE Pune diploma course, students have to appear for a personal interview. For admission to postgraduate diploma course, students have to send a SoP of 1000 words along with the application form in pdf format and appear for a personal interview at the college or a skype interview for selection. After fulfilling the SSE Pune admission criteria, selected students have to submit their documents and pay the fees.

BSc Economics (H) is a three year full- time programme, offered by SSE Pune. The programme is divided into six semesters and the duration of each semester is six months. The total academic fee is Rs 6.30 lakhs with an intake of 130 students.

First, Candidates have to meet the SSE Pune eligibility criteria.
Once the eligibility criteria is met, students have to fill the college online application form.
Next, students have to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET).
Shortlisted candidates also have to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI). PI will be conducted online.

SSE Pune Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Development Admission
Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Development is a 1 year full-time course provided by the college. The programme is divided into two semesters and the duration of each semester is six months. Classroom lectures, case study, workshops, field visits are included in the programme. CRISIL, ILFS, IDFC, etc hire candidates from this field.

SSE Pune Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Development Admission Process
Students should meet the SSE eligibility criteria.
Next, students have to download the college application form and send a SoP of 1000 words along with the application form to urbandev.admissions@sse.ac.in. The application form and SoP have to be in pdf format, with the name of the candidate and programme applied for, mentioned in SoP and subject of the mail respectively.
After that, a personal interview at the college or a skype interview will be conducted.
Selected candidates will be sent an offer letter and they will be offered admission after submitting the documents and payment of the fees.

Symbiosis School of Economics Pune offers a 1 year full-time diploma course in Quantitative Economics. The programme is divided into two semesters with the duration of each semester being six months. The eligibility criteria is minimum 45% in graduation in any stream.

The professors are well versed with their portions and work hard in building a strong and genuine rapport with the students. By recognising the interests of the students, they work in holistically developing the student in various fronts making them more ready for the real world.
College Infra
To be in the humble side of things the college sure fulfils the criteria. Although keep in mind that a campus is not something you're going to get here. The building of the college is a comfortable space with the necessary amenities such as a However he maintenance of the classrooms could be better, and the cleanliness is not an issue.
Campus Life
Students stick together and there is a sense of belonging withing the walls of the campus. Overall the campus life is welcoming and very comfortable. Being well equipped with safety measures and being well adapted to handle any emergencies, it is clear that safety is of utmost importance.
Placements
Hearing about it from a podium the college placements seem to be in a comfortable position where high end packages are delivered to the students. Due to the growth offered by the students the overall placement of the college is strong, not only with the help of the placement cell, but also through the help of teachers.
Value For Money
The value of money can only be determined if the opportunity on the door is met. The courses offered for a year cost approximately 3.5 lakhs give or take, and the reason why this seems worth is because of the growth offered overall by the college administration.

Academics at the college are decent but could be improved further. The curriculum covers the basic concepts, but it is not always updated with the latest industry trends. Some teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, while others rely more on traditional teaching methods. Overall, the academic experience is average and requires more practical exposure.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is well-developed and visually appealing with a modern aesthetic. Classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and equipped with smart boards and proper seating arrangements. The campus has good WiFi connectivity, clean surroundings, and well-maintained facilities including libraries and common areas. Overall, the infrastructure provides a comfortable and productive environment for students.
Campus Life
Campus life is enjoyable and engaging with various activities and events happening throughout the year. Students get opportunities to participate in cultural fests, clubs, and extracurricular activities. The environment is friendly and safe, and peers are cooperative. However, there is still scope for more events and better student engagement.
Placements
Placements are average, with limited opportunities for students. Some companies do visit the campus, but the overall placement percentage is not very high. The salary packages offered are moderate, and only a few students secure high-paying jobs. The placement cell is supportive but needs to bring in more reputed companies and better opportunities.

Academics
The academic experience is amazing. Classes are scheduled early to discipline the students and teach them respect for punctuality. The teachers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Faculty engages with students and builds great curse plans to keep students active and informed about the course.
College Infra
Campus life is enjoyable and engaging with various activities and events happening all year round. Students get opportunities to participate in clubs, fest and extracurriculars. The environment is friendly and safe and the peers are friendly and welcoming. However there is slight scope for more events and extracurriculars.
Campus Life
Campus is a little small and the classes are limited. Since the whole college is only for economics as the primary subject.
Placements
Placements show a dip here they are not as per what a bsc student might expect. But the course inculcates such skill throughout the year that students are able to secure placements on their own.
But the college does not provide a well satisfactory placement round.
Value For Money
I believe the college to be worth my money. The course in itself is a difficult and can be overwhelming. But the teachers are always willing to teach and help. The students are encouraged to take part in various activities and projects which in turn builds a strong portfolio for future endeavours.
