About 100% students get internships at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Madras, and various shipyards. The highest stipend offered is 3000 per month and the lowest is 0 per month.

Placement scenario is not good in this college. Earlier Indian Navy used to offer the highest package with 9 to 10 lakhs per annum, and the minimum starting package is 3 lakhs per annum. Ship designing companies like Sb marine, Aveva, Vedam,etc., visited the campus. The placements are decreasing year by year. The 2016 relieved batch get about 75% of placements and the next year, only 40% get placements.
Yes you can attend for second counselling if there is a chance and if you have already paid the amount it will be transferred to the college you got in second counselling. So don't worry.
