Aerospace Engineering
Hello aspirant,Your rank should be around 2,000 to get admission in aerospace engineering at IIT BOMBAY. As IIT Bombay is one of the top institute in India. So you should definitely score high to get such a branch.
All the best!
dear aspirant,
It is a well and good college on Academic grounds. You will learn so many things in academics,as professors are good and experienced.Next thing comes to matter,is placements of a college,When it comes to Aero dept it is not as good as other depts in Dsce like CS,ECE,CS etc.If you really want to build your career in Aeronautical field,nd want to go for Abroad for M.S.Then this is the right choice to make, but if you want study only B.E degree.please don't go for it.Better you can choose any other branch.
hope it helped.
Hello Student,
As your rank in the CET(Common Entrance Test) is 36621 and the cutoff rank for getting into aerospace engineering in the first round is 18000 rank.
There seems no possibility for you to get a seat in the RV college in the next rounds because in the further rounds the cutoff ranks changes very slighty and the difference between your rank and the cutoff of first rank is huge. All you can do is try another college or give one more year and reappear in CET again and then go for RV college.
Hope this may help you.

The branch covers a wide range of topics including computer application, structures, mathematics, physics, drafting, electricity, robotics, aeronautics etc. It covers two aspects of engineering –Aeronautical Engineering and Astronomical Engineering.
Aerospace Engineering is one of the toughest branches of Engineering. It requires a lot of hard work and dedication to be able to make it big in this field of study. In India, Aerospace Engineering is one of the niche engineering branches among students. It offers lucrative and a fulfilling career.
Aerospace Engineering is a highly specialised technological field that requires overall excellence in mathematical, calculative and observational skill. Research in this field takes years to be completed, thus resilience and persistence are of much importance too. Here are a few essential qualities/skills to be a successful Aerospace Engineer:
