Is Bsc environmental science and Bsc Botany same ? does Bsc botany fall under Bsc environmental science?

Karam Vir 6th Aug, 2021

Hey,

Environmental Science and Botany are entirely different courses. These do come under science courses but Botany is not a category that falls under Environmental Science.

Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary course that covers issues from geology, physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, earth science, and a variety of other disciplines. The course focuses on the environment and the various processes that occur on the planet.

Global warming, pollution, floods, earthquakes, waste management, and sustainable development have all been addressed in depth throughout the course. Environmental Studies courses are available at all levels, from undergraduate to graduate to PhD programmes. Because of its relevance and professional potential, the Environmental Studies subject has recently become increasingly popular among students.

Botany is a discipline of biology that studies the lives of plants in detail, including their structures, properties, and traits and features. Botany is the scientific study of all plant-like living entities, such as algae, fungi, ferns, mosses, and actual plants. This course is designed to assist individuals in learning about plants from a micro to a macro level.

Anushri Varshney 6th Aug, 2021

Hi there,

Yeah, you are eligible to start teaching in schools at entry-level or according to what class you want to teach.

See, as you have mentioned that you have done Bachelor of science and then Master of science along With Bachelor of Education(B.Ed). So these qualifications are enough to and you in a teaching job.

Solely BSc + Msc + B.Ed are enough to land you in a teaching job but if you wished to teach government schools then you will need to pass the UPTET examination that consists of two papers.

Eligibility criteria: A candidate must hold a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university. The age should be in the range of 18-35 years.

You can try to make interviews in the respective schools according to your preference or you can also apply for Government teaching jobs.

I hope you get your answer.

Thank you and Wishing you very good luck:)

Hello,

Recruitment of government teacher is done through CTET at central level, and in case of state level TETs are conducted, and to appear for the same having pursued teacher training program is mandatory such as BEd, DElEd, DEd etc, if you have done any of the aforementioned courses, and you satisfy the age criteria you are eligible to apply for the same, in case you don't have BEd degree or any other training degree, you have to pursue it, you can consider doing BEd through distance mode also, prior to applying make sure you fulfill all the eligibility criteria.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2021

Hi

Have completed your bsc?

  • If you have completed means passed 3rd year /final semester of bsc then you need to choose the code 6 because : -

code 6 is for all those students who have passed BSc  with at least any two of following subjects :-

>>>>Physics,

>>>>chemistry ,

>>>>biology/biotechnology

  • If you haven't completed your bsc yet during filling the form then you need to choose the code 2 because:-

Though you are doing bsc right now, your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology remains 10 + 2.

And

code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English

  • You can't choose code 5 because you haven't studied physics in your bsc but

code 5 is for all those who have passed  1 st year graduation with all the three of Physics , chemistry and biology/biotechnology

And don't worry you don't neet your bsc 1st year admit card. And during admission you can submit your BSc TC and migration certificate.
