Look, it's totally depends upon your interest. If coding, Mathematics or Statistics are areas of your interest then Data Scientist job is going to be boring or stressful for you at all. But if you have the degree but still you're not interested in coding and all then it could be a stressful job for you. As this job requires proper attention and focus.


But demand for data scientists and engineers has increased a lot and still increasing. This job will provide you a good pay scale. And your salary keeps increasing as long as you will be gaining more and more experience in this field. So little stress but good salary range is not a bad deal.

Most of the people of this field are feel nervous to talk with many people as they have to present their new model or or new thought of ideas for presentation. Most of the cases they feel nervous about the the new thoughts to implement in ideas expression. So speaking and communication skill with others in public or in private  has great importance in a field of data engineers and data scientist job environment.

Not specifically in Tamil Nadu but across India, at entry level a data scientist earns approximately INR 5-6 Lakhs per annum. With experience, the salary can go higher accordingly. Same is for machine learning expert too. With increase in experience, skills etc., you can earn more.

yes of course .about 80% of student doing BTECH (CSE) doesn't take computer subject in 11 and 12..This a not problem because you have 4year of BTECH in which you can master yourself .

Go for 10+2 with PCM and Statistics if possible. Then you can go for BTech Data Science/ BSc Data science form different colleges. You have an opportunity to do a BSc (Research) course in Data Science at IIT MADRAS.  The course is a distance course but you will get a full time degree from IIT MADRAS as well as a research experience.
