Data Scientist
Hello There ,
For becoming a data scientist , one need to study the following courses/topics -
1) statistics/computing
2) Data Analysis
3) Data Visualization
4) Big Data management
5) Associated softwares required for becoming data scientist
6) Machine Learning Algorithms
7) Deep learning and reinforcement learning
Data Scientist earn a very good salary , although it is hard to predict a definite range , but the earning potential is good .
Hope it Helps
Hello Aspirant,
This totally depends on the marks you have got in these exams . One is a national level entrance giving you access to engineering colleges all over India and the other one is a state level entrance. If you do well in EAMCET you may get into top colleges in your state. Whereas a good JEE Mains score can get you any desired college outside or within the state. This again is based on whether you want to go out to another state and do engineering. See the lists of colleges offered by both entrance scores, compare and contrast and based on your convenience choose which is best for you .
You may use the below link to know the JEE MAINS cutoffs :

Hello student!
Students from any background can become a data scientist whether its Mathematics, Statistics, CS, Economics or Arts but you must be very prompt in analytical skills.
So you have BSc in Mathematics, you must have exposure to Lagrange’s and Fourier Transform. You might have worked on Digital Signal Processing also. These mathematical theorems are used in Data Science frequently. When you have to design a Neural Network or a Deep Learning Algorithm based model, data scientists use transformation. You can start by learning R Language and Rstudio IDE. So, you are at advantage choosing BSc mathematics and computing. Just couple your skills with programming.
You can next go for a MSc and then Ph.D in Computer Science (or an specialization course). The specialization (or Ph.D) will give you support to expand your programmer’s side and can help you to develop a platform to offer your analysis easier to your clients. But if you just want the BSc, you can go for Stats and take online classes (Coursera, edX, udemy and DataCamp offers a lot of them) to improve your programming skills.
Wish you all the best !
hi,
see data scientist profession is a sub division of software engineering. to become a data science you must have knowledge about the statistics, statistical analysis software like ruby, perl, r programming, some of the software tools like tableue desktop, spss etc. so with out the software programming knowledge you can not become a data scientist. however you may take job as a software engineer and may grow your career and switch to data science field.
hope you may understand.
Hello
Data scientist have a good scope in india in future because of its demand rising continuously year by year.
Here are the some of the industries with a high demand of data scientist:
E commerce, banking and finance , manufacturing, healthcare ,transport.
Jobs that a data scientist can do and offer :
Big data engineer, machine learning engineer, data engineer, data analytics....
Average salary offers to fresher are in between 6 t0 8 lpa
Top recruiter are Amazon, IBM ,Walmart lab, LinkedIn...
Feel free to ask
Good Luck...
Hello aspirant,
Congrats for your interest in emerging technologies domain...these are the technologies that lead you to become a data scientist...data analysis is something different which deals with how to utilize the data useful...both are interlinked and promising field, but different fields if we gaze into it...So these subjects will surely be useful if you want to be all rounder..
Hope this finds helpful...ALL THE BEST!!!
BSc Data Science is a 3 year full-time course that comes under the domains of Computer Science, Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
Data Science is an interdisciplinary subject that includes the use of Statistics , Big Data Analytics , Machine Learning and related aspects in order to understand the problem or phenomena with respect to a set of real-world data.
This course is highly popular among students in India and Abroad because of its increasingly high demand and diverse future scope in tech companies, consultancies, market research companies and energy sector.
Admission to this course usually takes place on the basis of merit and performance in the university level Common Entrance Tests. The minimum eligibility required is the completion of Class 12 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
IT is a particular subject with data science.
