In engineering line you cannot take admission only on the basis of 12th boards marks . You have to give entrance examination by any means and if you clear the cut off you will be eligible to take admission in that course .

however various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like:-

• Number of candidates appearing in the examination
• Number of vacant seats in college.
• Previous year cut offs.
• Difficulty level of the paper.

You can try for sastra university as it takes admission on the basis of jee mains and also boards scores. 30% weightage is given to your 12th score and 70% for you jee mains score.
